The following may look like a fake, but it is real. Trust us.
We were asked by the owners of our guest house in Ulaan Baatar, Mongolia to
help out a local English-language business magazine which needed a picture of some "typical" backpackers for the
cover. Alas, they didn't want an interview also, so we are not mentioned in the article.
By the way, we DO take off our backpacks when visiting people's homes ...
the photographer asked us to keep them on. Talk about staging!
